Not bad

It's alright, but needs a little work. Inhance the drums a bit, instead of having the bass on the beat, try setting it off beat to give it a fuller sound. Also, if you're using FL Studio you can go to Sytrus, Wasp XT or the 3xOsc and get either the Digi, PWM Saw, Cerbera Saw, Bassline Square, Pure Bass 8, or the Analog Saw Bass (if you adjust the Cutoff to 2 and the Reso to 10 in the Filter, then the Coarse to 0 and the Fine to 11 in Osc 1, and the Coarse to 3 and the Fine to 11 in the second Osc, you should come out with a good sound). I generally find those to be good for industrial or techno. Also, try arpeggiating the melody and equalizing everything. Other than that it's not bad, and definitely has potential. 3/5

Whoa...

Dude this is really good. Nice job with the drums. They're all over the place kind of, but still flow really well with the song and actually give it some depth. Nice piano chords as well. 5/5

P.S. - the other new songs you posted were great, too haha.

Thanks mang :D

O_O....

HOLY SHIT DUDE!!!! THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME!!! PERFECT!!!! CAN'T WAIT UNTIL IT'S FINISHED!!!! :D 5/5

DomesticTerrorist responds:

Hahaha thanks dude! I can't wait to hear how it sounds finished either... definitely going for a suicide commando/combichrist feel with this one.

This is good!

I don't usually listen to house music...actually I think this is my first time haha, but this is really good! Everything falls into place and all the instruments compliment eachother really well. The orchestration kind of reminds me of orchestras warming up, except if they actually made it a REALLY good, structured song. Well done man! 5/5

DomesticTerrorist responds:

Thanks dude, I set the vibrato on the strings up a tad to get that feel.

Wow...O_O

Dude this is REALLY good. The piano you added fits perfectly. And I don't know what you were talking about when you said you wanted your orchestrations better. They sound perfectly fine to me. You should turn the volume up on them a little more at around 1:30 though. And the only thing that really breaks the feel of the song is the silence at around 1:58. It's like this huge, epic build up and then it stops you know? Try holding the silence for about a measure, then add a quarter note pickup with the bass drum like you do with the crash cymbal at 2:11 to kick back into it. I fucking love the progressions you use in this song though. Definitely adding to my favorites! 5/5

DomesticTerrorist responds:

Thanks! Yeah I'll definitely work with some of those suggestions... this one is gonna take a while to get right but it should be pretty damn good when it's done!

Sounds great!!

The only thing that I can say made me loose the feel is when you kind of cut the instruments off at about 1:58. You could do a short drum fill there with double bass or snare build up and then play a variation off of the melody you have going on after that or something. Maybe use a different instrument to play the variation with the melody you already have playing behind it. Overall this song is definitely great!! I love the progressions you chose!!!!! Can't wait to hear the finished song!! :D

DomesticTerrorist responds:

Yeah I was thinking of a snare rush into that part, I just haven't programmed it in. I'm also planning to add some piano and possibly a major chord variation of the lead in the extended version. I also need to do some more orchestra work... hopefully it will turn out good haha.

My goal with the drop at 1:58 is to make kids on ecstasy have a heartattack on the dancefloor when the bass disappears hahaha.

Hmm...

Try using a different set of instruments. The drum track you have in the beginning is a great start! For industrial, you want to keep it kind of lower/darker tone. Try using some of the stuff out of Sytrus like the PWM Saw and such. See what you can come up with. This is definitely a good start though, and I'm sure you can make it a great track with a little work. Your other stuff is really good, too!

grandman1023 responds:

hey really appreciate it and yeah ill keep that in mind next time i go industrail

Holy....

SHIT!!!!!! Dude, this is fucking phenomenal! Another track by you that's added to my favorites ^_^ Keep it up man!!!! :D

DomesticTerrorist responds:

Thanks dude! this one will be epic when it's done :)

Great! :D

This is really good!! Nice choice of instruments for the most part. The only suggestion I have is to use a different snare. Usually for orchestrations they use a concert snare (has a little less attack and usually sounds more like a snare you would hear in old drum corps before war. It would also match the sound of the rolls you have better, and compliment the music without over powering the orchestra or piano). Other than that this is a great track! And I can definitely see this as a battle theme to a video game....some of the sounds in it remind me of Kingdom Hearts battle music :D

Aresdev responds:

I'm actually pretty familiar with that style of music, having participated in music programs for 6 years. I know exactly what you are talking about snare-wise. I will take that into account for future installments. Thanks for the review!
